A lady came forward this morning during the response time and indicated she wanted to talk more about becoming a Christian. We spoke to her and her boyfriend after the service. She stated that she was ready to trust in Christ. However, after we talked a little while longer, she admitted that she was not ready to give up a particular situation in her life. We explained that being a follower of Christ does not mean that we just say a prayer then keep living like we have always lived but that Jesus changes us. She said she wanted to wait and think through it some more before surrendering her life to Christ. Please pray for her. She is really counting the cost and what it means to follow Jesus! I am very encouraged that she will follow Christ real soon! Have you counted the cost?
