A leading IT System Integrator company in Dokki Urgently looking for Senior System Administrator with the following requirements: **Responsibilities: • Install and configure servers, hardware and software as necessary to support operating systems, applications, and databases in a distributed computing environment. • Review new system initiatives, at beginning of the business requirements stage, to ensure that operational impact is identified and incorporated into the system development and implementation plan. • Implement and upgrade operating system patching, preventative maintenance, disaster recovery, backup procedures, capacity planning, network security, performance tuning, and problem diagnosis and resolution. • Monitor daily uses and performance of operating systems, servers and applications and related applications to determine areas for improvement and identify as well as recommend the required modifications. • Thoroughly document procedures and maintain technical documentation, including systems configurations, installation procedures, systems specifications, HW/SW inventory, support logs, version control logs, as well as standard operating procedures. • Verify stability, interoperability, security, and scalability of system architecture. • Register and clarify received incidents and undertake an immediate effort to successfully restore a failed service as swiftly as possible in order to minimize service breaches. • Maintain strong knowledge of new products and services. • Manage and handle the following products Microsoft Products. • Implement & manage all Microsoft Environment Servers about 85 Server. (Updates – Healthy check – Troubleshooting …., etc.). • Implement & Manage Microsoft infrastructure Servers (active directory – DNS – DHCP – File server – FTP). • Implement & Manage Microsoft SQL servers (2005 – 2008) standers & enterprise edition. • Implement & Manage Microsoft Exchange servers (2007 & 2010) ,SharePoint ,Lync and manage migration process between them Manage and handle Company switch Network & Firewall. **Good knowledge with Virtualization Products: • Implement & manage VMware infrastructure using VMware vCenter Servers and ESXi hosts. • Implement & manage DR Solution based on VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and EMC Recover Pointe. **Good knowledge and hand experience with Hardware Products preferred EMC & IBM : - • Servers Blade Chassis. • Storage System. • Tap Library. • SAN Switches. **Skills: • In-depth experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Administration preferred Active Directory 2008, Microsoft ISA Firewall and Exchange 2010. • Backup Software (Symantec Backup Exec, MS DPM). • Antivirus Application End Point Protection. • Hands on experience in management of Window based Network Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, and WINS), Remote Access Servers, installation, configuration, and trouble shooting of Microsoft Server Class OS. • Experience in a remote support environment. • Experience in Microsoft System Centers (Configuration Manager, Operation manager) is Plus. • ITIL certified or working knowledge is a plus. • Extensive knowledge in Network Operations (Firewall, VPN, Routing, Monitoring, Switched Networks) Cisco certificates or working knowledge is plus. **General Skills: • 2+ years’ experience in a Microsoft support role preferred in an enterprise. • Fluent In English. • Very good communication, interpersonal, and team work skills. • Well organized, hard worker with strong documentation skills. • Ability to train, motivates, and leads a team. • High desire to continually update technical knowledge. • Ready to work under pressure and off-time and during weekends. **Education: • Computer science, or relevant discipline, graduated from recognized university/institute.
