A lesson for Nigeria! In Kenya, the Chief Executive of the Electoral Commission is facing prosecution for the fraudulent supply of $15 million anti-rigging equipment, which didnt work. Here in Nigeria, the prices of Stella Oduahs bullet proof cars are not only prohibitively inflated to rob the taxpayers, but the importer was granted fraudulent waivers, making the Customs servicing losing N10 million. Instead, of facing prosecution, the characters in this epic national scandal are insulting our sensibilities with funny stories, subterfuge and other desperate excuses to escape justice for defrauding the country. The outcome of the investigation of this scandal and the ability of the government to put down it foot on corrupt officials would be a litmus test for its sincerity to fight sleaze.
