A lesson in trust. Through C.R. I have learned to be content for the most part in most areas where I previously had issues and now find myself (seems constantly) being in situations where I have to trust not just God but others. Stepping out of my comfort zone as a co-dependent with trust issues is a struggle at times, but I cant get better at trusting others and God, without taking a step of faith to do just that, trust. I read about Naomi tonight and it was stated that her friends told her that having Ruth in her life was better than seven sons. Fortunately, I have a lot of women/Ruths/monkeys to help me when I need to be told to go a different direction to avoid the feelings of being caged up, panicked and untrusting. I am so thankful for the impact they and CR have had in my life. Until my devotion tonight, I never thought about the great women of the bible as Among Giants, but they were. I consider it a privilege to serve among some of the greatest Giants that are spirit filled and led that have and are a part of my life. My verse of the day: Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4 I stepped out in faith in obedience to Him to trust someone this weekend and Ill know at a later time how that worked out.
