A lesson to you all kids- ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN !!! Have just had a biopsy on a lesion on the side of my face. It is a BCC, a mild form of skin cancer, after surgery I will have a scar on my face, about 1.5cm in diameter and a 40% chance of developing another one in my lifetime. They are CAUSED BY SUN BURN- can be from just one incident in childhood or accumulative. I have rarely been sun burnt on my face, but I am an Irish Lily after all! Im just lucky Im a girl and can wear make-up :)
