Not to be missed. keithordinaryguy.org.uk/ Dear Mr Cameron, Quite aside from the legal violation under the Human Rights Act, with its prohibition against forced labour, of the Claimant Commitment Contract there is a self evident moral affront to which no human being should be subjected. Forcing people to act under the coercion of the loss of the means of survival reduces any action people perform to that of grovelling servitude. It strips the victims of all human dignity and drives them down into a state of shamefulness and mental squalor. How Iain Duncan Smith, David Freud or any of the rest of you can find this in any way amusing reveals the depths of your depravity in imposing this on people. It comes as no surprise to me to discover that the first government department to commit itself to paying a living wage is the worst offender for paying poverty wages. Of the 7,500 government workers earning less than the living wage, almost 5,000 are employed by the DWP including external contractors. I am not alone in wondering what a man without a shred of humanity or human decency is doing running the government department in charge of social care. Is Iain Duncan Smith hounding his own staff to demand they work more hours or get second or third jobs so that they are not a burden on the tax payer and threatening them with sanctions if they do not comply? If anyone in government has an opportunity to demonstrate making work pay through his thousands of employees its the man who isnt doing anything of the sort. Your government is nothing if not a bunch of over privileged, socially inept, morally bankrupt, failures. I was at the Police station on Friday in an attempt to bring charges against Smith and Freud for human rights violations. I was told that I could not bring charges as they were acting within the policies that they had created even though they directly contravene Human Rights Statutes. Which begs the question, which law are the Police supposed to enforce, the one that prohibits forced labour or the one that enforces forced labour? The Police took the side of politicians, which begs another question, who protects the people from politicians? mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/food-bank-debate-saw-iain-2942269
