A little background. Im a class of 1970 Leavenworth High School graduate who worked six years as a Kansas City area radio announcer including a year at KUDL FM (1977-78) where my boss was a pre-political Rush Limbaugh. The most meaningful work I ever performed was at a social service agency Neighborhood House where I transported domestic violence victims to a shelter in Lawrence since Leavenworth had none at that time. (We do now). Also various stints at The Public Library and 26 years as a state of Kansas employee. Several previous books with Waltsan on CD, the novel Life Rocks used by a schoolteacher in Hitchcock, Texas to get her students interested in reading (very gratifying).
