A little incident last Friday on the farm in San Miguel County. Yeller is A-OK after two hours in the icy water! Looooong story. Anyway, anyone else have any interesting NM critter in the ice tales ;) ? (I posted a pic of Yeller the next day on dry ground and just before I spoiled him rotten below in the comments). Thank you great Land of Enchantment joojoo that saved the day...that, plus some great friends in the community and maybe someone else :) *Interested in gaining knowledge on how to get a water rescue response team together for our area and any other region in the state. Water safety!! I learned the hard way this past wkd that we dont have water rescue capacity in our region and understand it is $$$ but interested if any other NM communities have a team in place and if so, how the plan was implented. This event made me realize how important this issue is. What if this had been a child? Thank you for listening... Any and all advice greatly appreciated. Maybe we can all save one life...
