Making a rare trip to Sligo this evening with two runners. I dont run many at this track as Im not a fan of it as a flat racecourse.Jockeys tend to ride the track here rather than their horse. What I mean by this is, they tend to gun them out of the gates to get a position and then walk up the hill. For that reason especially over the 6f trip they can go very hard and not finish. However they have some nice prizemoney on offer and Ive a theory in my head re Third Dimension and I could find out here if Im right. Hes a horse Ive always rated but his last two starts have left me confused and if he ever does on the racetrack what he does at home then theres a big one in him. Angel of Joy is not as ground dependant as most and Ive took a chance running him here. He seems a very straight forward sort who didnt get the trip last time when I stepped him up at Fairyhouse. If he acts around the track he should run well. HGD
