A little long but I had to share cuz these are the moments that are worth cherishing forever! Ladybug has had tough week at daycare. She cried practically every morning at drop off in the mornings so tonight as I was laying in bed with her so she could go to sleep for the night, I asked her why she had been crying. At first she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her again., Why do you think you were crying? She said, I dont know. I just cry a lot. I asked her, What is it thats making you cry? What are you thinking about that makes you cry? She responded, Because you leave me all alone. I point out she isnt alone because shes with her friends and teachers. She responded, I know but I just cry. I asked her again, What do you think is making you so sad? She started getting teary-eyed and said, I just love you guys so much and dont want you to leave me. My response was, I know. I miss you when Im at work. But I think about you all day and I get happy. What can you think about that will make you happy? I know! How about Santa Claus?! She smiled and responded with, Yea but I want to think about you and Dada .... and Amity, and Aba, and Pop-Pop, and Nino, and Grandma Irene, and Grandpa Ernie, and Tia, and Liam, and Maya .... and the kitties! I asked, Will that make you happy to think about all of us? She nodded her head, Yes indeed. Seriously, melt and break my heart why dont you, my ladybug!
