A little politics...... This week I wrote to 3 NE Scotland MSPs. I wrote to tell them that decisions the SNP were making , or planning on making had me concerned. So much so that I would consider actively campaigning against them in Scottish Politics. These decisions were, and the order does not reflect importance, the fiasco that is the SNP involvement in the Donald Trump Golf course development in Aberdeenshire. Not that it went ahead, but that it went ahead without consideration for ensuring economic gain. At present Trump can walk after destroying what was supposed to be protected habitat and without securing economic gain. SNP have issued no statement on how they are going to secure long term research funding for Scottish HE institutions under independence!!! This is a huge problem that could set Scottish Universities back many decades. Thirdly I am fed up with the SNP treatment of the hunting and shooting community in Scotland. Kenny MacAskill appears to have a personal vendetta against them and issues emotional innaccurate statements to gather populist support for the most unecessary legislation that is to be introduced without due consultation. I gave the SNP 2 weeks to come up with some show of public recourse that things were going to change. But today I learn that in Shetland they have deliberately ignored the recommendation of their own regulators (SNH), as they did in the Trump Golf fiasco, and stated that they basically dont think that placing a large windfarm development on the breeding habitat of a rare bird where 95% of the UK population nests resides is "significant". SNP..... your fired
