A little update... It has been another busy day at the Tramway - TopicsExpress

A little update... It has been another busy day at the Tramway today with many activities going on at the same time; a testament to the ever increasing volunteer workforce showing up and cracking on with jobs. In no particular order: - Blackpool 623 has been out today on driver training with several of the volunteers working towards an engineer licence. - Blackpool 619 has been subject to an extensive C exam which is a thorough top-to-bottom inspection of the tram from trolley pole to trucks and Im happy to say it passed with flying colours. It also ventured out in public use briefly this afternoon with an arranged school party who came to look around the museum and have a tram ride through the park. It also received a wash and brush down to smarten its appearance. - Hull 96 had further bodywork stripped and prepped in its ongoing transformation into its Hull 96 condition. - Manchester 765 had its no.1 end controller stripped partially to sort out a problem with its notching sequence. - Blackpool 1 had further work done to its body and truck to improve its appearance and is looking remarkably better for the attention. - Attention to the miniature tramway was also performed to repair the storage cabinet glazing. I probably missed mentioning a dozen more jobs but thanks to all the people who put in time today. SW
