A little while since we posted.....Kiara started her new meds and has been dealing with a few side effects but seems to be on the improve now. She has mainly suffered muscle pain, as though she has run a marathon but not having actually done anything. This may or may not be a sign that her kidneys are being compromised and not filtering the electrolytes the way they should be. She had a blood test yesterday to check this. Tomorrow she is back to the orthopaedic surgeon. Not expecting to much from this visit but I am expecting to be booking another surgery to have some hardware removed from both knees. We will mention Kiaras hip injury and see what he says but this is coming good with a lot of physio. Stairs are still a major obstacle though. The end of the year is coming fast now and Kiara really could do with the break. Her poor body needs the rest.
