I just have certain things I like--dont know why--compotes, green vases, aluminum ware... and church fans, to name a few. I ran across this one from Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City, NC in an antiques store in Conway and was intrigued that the phone number did not have the usual number of digits meaning it must be relatively old. When my mother went off to college in 1953, Inman Funeral Home was her countact number since the phone lines had not been run to the rural areas, yet. Today marks two years since my mom passed away, and you can chalk it up to coincidence or whatever that I happened upon this fan during some totally spontaneous browsing. I am betting this is the number she listed at ECU over 60 years ago.
