A little word of encouragement! Psalms 142:7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me. Many of us are giving thanks to God in our month of Thanksgiving. The bible tells us that it will free our soul from prison. Many of us have prisons we live in. Guilt, shame, fear, lack of confidence, you name it and there is a prison for it in the souls of men. The word of God says that when you praise his name, your soul will be released from prison. The righteous shall compass you about. The word compass here means to encircle. Who would you rather have around you in the time of need. Someone who knows Gods love and understanding, (The righteous). Or someone who is stuck in their on prison. The last part of the verse says for thou shall deal bountiful with me. The definition for this phrase translated from Greek means to repay. How do you think God is going to repay you bountifully for your praise. I think I could have Christmas everyday. For my God loves me and wants to give me his good pleasures for my praise. I think with these kind of benefits I will praise him everyday. Thank you Lord! youtube/watch?v=xi0yLRX4d2M
