Do you remember when you were a small child? Do you remember when something would scare you or got hurt? The first place you would run to is the arms of one of your parents. When we were young your mother or father could take all the fear away like no one else. There is no body who would protect like your mother or father.How about the grand parents out there would you do any to protect your grand babys? Now I want to introduce you to the greatest grand parent there is. At the same time came the Disciples unto Jesus (probably in the home of Peter), saying, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? (Jesus addresses wrong attitudes.) 2 And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them (the single greatest lesson taught by Christ), 3 And He said, Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted (Born-Again), and become as little children (a child is totally dependent on its parents, and Believers must be as dependent on Christ), you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (failure of total dependence on Christ and the Cross, will pull one into unbelief, and, thereby, a lost condition). 4 Whosoever (no exceptions to this rule) therefore shall humble himself as this little child (requirement for greatness), the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven (direct opposite of the standard of the world) 5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in My Name receives Me (Believers who depend on self, will not accept the Cross, for this is what this means and, therefore, will not receive such a one who does [Lk. 9:27-28]). God is the first parent there was. God wants You to run to Him just like you did when you run to your mother or father for comfort. God wants to be the Father of all of us. All He asks us to do is to come to Him and give Him all of you, not part of you. The Heavenly Father wants to protect you but you must go to Him it is that simple. Why not get down on your knees and ask Him to come into your heart tonight. The sooner you have a relationship with God the sooner you will have true pease in your heart.
