A long but engrossing read. I had never heard of Diplomacy before but now I want to experience it, if only once. I definitely wouldnt cut it. My opponents were right: I was too trusting, too unwilling to lie, too willing to settle for draws. I was not thick-skinned. I was not an alpha nerd. But I comforted myself with the thought that even though I wasn’t, neither were my pissed-off opponents. If they were, they’d have persuaded me to do what they wanted.
