A lot of Muslims feel helpless about the current situation of the Ummah, especially that of Palestine. You hear them say what can we do, the leaders have the power, if I could Id do such and such, I would, all we can do is pray etc etc, the excuses just keep on coming. I will tell you what you can do! Start with your family and your own household. Rid your lives of as much sin and haraam as you can, hold onto the Quraan and Sunnah, get rid of Bidah, get rid of nationalism etc. If all the Muslim homes began with their own households, thered be a revolution. Remember Allaah (subhaanahu wa taaala) said that He will not change the state of the Ummah until we change what is within ourselves. How will Allaahs help reach us when so many of us are cursed? Yes, when so many of us Muslims are cursed? Seriously! We all know that as Muslim women we cant mess around with our eyebrows, and yet we do knowing we are cursed, meaning that we are deprived of the mercy of Allaah - so how can you expect help and victory when youre disobeying and cursed!? We all know we cant have those hideous camel-hump hijaabs, and yet we do. We all know RIBA (interest) is a major sin and its consquence is fighting a war against Allaah, yet we indulge in it. We all know disobedience to parents is a major sin, yet we are constantly rude to our parents... the list of sins goes on and on. I mean some Muslims are not even Muslim and dont even realise it since they dont even pray! We are so arrogant, we disobey Allaah knowingly and persistently. Its about time we take Islaam seriously. Lets turn to Allaah (subhaanahu wa taaala) in repentance and mend our ways and transform our homes, then watch Allaahs help pour upon us!!!
