A man died and another 65 people were injured in a gas truck explosion on Diyarbakir-Bingol highway. One person died Tuesday after a gas truck exploded on Turkeys South-Eastern Diyarbakir-Bingol highway late Monday. Leaking gas caused an explosion after an accident which set two buses and several passing vehicles on fire, initially leaving 66 people wounded. The injured people were transported to Dicle University Hospital for treatment, but one of them, Fikri Tertip, 38, has been pronounced dead. Haluk Doster, a witness at the scene, told Anadolu Agency that he was among those who arrived the accident scene first. I saw four cars smoldering.
