A man has been hospitalised following a single-vehicle crash at Homebush West this morning. Emergency services were called to the M4 Motorway at Homebush just before 1am (Sunday 15 June 2014), after a 4WD collided with the guardrail. The vehicle left the road where it rolled along the embankment, before coming to a stop on its side against a tree. The driver and sole occupant, a 19-year old-man, freed himself from the vehicle before being taken to Westmead Hospital by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, where he is being treated for a laceration to his head and right arm. Officers from Flemington Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/.
