A man was violently slapped by his wife out of anger, captured on video. Its domestic abuse and society is so cool with it. He did the right thing to just end the show and walk away. Will society demand her head on a stake for abusing her husband? Doubtful. Hope Solo and her assault accusations go unrepremanded as well. The Victorian Era is over. No one has the legal or moral right to slap me without my consent. It is a crime. Women that think they have this right are wrong, unless it is self defense from my physical attack or physical threats. There are no words that can escape my lips worthy of a slap. There are no onstage stunts or relationship indiscretions that could warrant a women to hit me, especially in public. Domestic violence against men is far more commonplace than people might think, because it is so shameful and unmanly to report it. Even when reported, it usually goes unpunished and unnoticed. We just dont care, as a society. Look at that headline. It doesnt say that a wife hit her internet celeb husband.
