A man who reached a plea bargain in exchange for testimony in another suspects trilal was sentenced Thursday for his role in the shooting death of a Yuba City man in 2010. The victim was shot after he tried to trade a gun for marijuana. Guadalupe Rodriguez Jr., 23, was sentenced to six years in state prison on a felony count of robbery. The upper-term sentence included a one-year firearm enhancement. Rodriguez had originally been charged with murder with co-defendant Justin Taylor Forster, 24, of Honcut, for the death of Andres Cervantes Mendoza in August 2010.
