A man with no arms and no legs told me Tears clean the windows to the soul. That simple sentence got me thinking of how things so small can help so much. A few drops of salty water can help us let go. Mere drops, liquid and yet crystalline- allow us to reach the other side of our pain, fears and frustrations. Letting go is the first step to what we call Catharsis- the intense emotional release that leads us back to our center, the hearts reset button. Crying isnt a sign of weakness but a show of strength. The strength to hold onto hope we might perceive as fragile- like a spider web. However, even a single strand of that same web- appearing to be weak on its own- is stronger than steel... (Dedicated to anyone who might cry more than their fair share)
