A message from my brother Jesus on holy relationship... Forgiveness The behaviour of your brother and all that he says and does is but a reflection of what you believe to be your own ugly sins. This is what you really hate your brother for. It is never their sins that you hate: It is your own. You are holding your past against your brother not his. You do not hate him for what he did to you but you hate for what you think you did to him. Learn this lesson and learn it well. If you cannot see this then attack is both warranted and justified. Thus is forgiveness lost to you and the guilt in your mind is reinforced and magnified. To rid myself of guilt I must make a brother guilty. Is this insane premise what I would want to teach myself? Yet remember that you are as innocent of what you thought you were just as he is and remembering truth is forgiveness. There is no other in brOTHER: only one and that one is always you. Every experience that you encounter is the one that you called for and have received as you asked. It was bidden by you because you are ready to forgive what never was. Be aware of the constant temptation to perceive yourself as unfairly treated. You have never been unfairly treated or attacked and when this is fully recognized and accepted, then the perception of unfair and attack will simply disappear.
