A message from my mama Kia Orana all, The 25 Year Celebration for the Tangaroa College Cook Islands Group was a huge success! Firstly, I would like to thank Tangaroa College Senior Management and the Board of Trustees for supporting us in this weekend event. Thank you Maggie, Simone, Quencie, Tua, Mama Tanitu, Junior, Rich, Nick, Richard Talagi, Papa Putiani, Mama Tionga, Mama Tearoa, Gwen, Cedric, Doogie, Leslee for your contribution and fantastic smooth running of our Reunion. Outstanding job! Thank you LJ and Jazmine for your Band/AV equipment. Thank you Mere for making our delicious Poke. Thank you Ethel, Leanne and Papa Kave for your commitment to our costumes. Thank you Georgie (lol) for being our runaround-go-to guy....donuts and Pork. Thank you TSG Security for donating your time to keeping our school, students and team safe. Thank you Tanitu and Leanne for the smooth running of our kitchen. Thank you Fono and Paul for looking after our Registration Post, lanyards and tees. Thank you Pacific Catering for our Banquet Sunday Lunch. Thank you Aunty Mum and Lani for the yummy minese. Thank you Leslees ex (lol) for donating our scrummy pig. Thank you Piako Bakery for cooking our delicious pork. Thank you Aunty Kimereni and family for your yummy hot donuts each morning. Merci Beaucoup. Thank you Tera and Aunty Tearoa for providing us with more photos to share with everyone. Thank you Papa Rev. William Cuthers and Mama Orometua for delivering a beautiful message at our Church Service. Thank you to our 2014 TCCIG students/supporters for your participation, hardwork and memorable moments. Thank you to all those who sent messages of pride and support Tania Unuia and Makimare Joseph. Thank you to all those who made the decision to register and travel from near and far (Australia, Wellington, Henderson, Mangere, Otara lol) Thank you to all the wives, husbands, partners that supported the event alongside their loved ones. I apologise if I have forgotten anyone else who helped with our reunion so THANK YOU MAATA. It was such a memorable and enjoyable event that I will forever be grateful for. However, I was disturbed to hear comments that were rude, untrue and incorrect especially from those who have been involved in this 25 Year journey with me. I would like to take this opportunity to invite anyone who would like to have clarification or questions answered at my home 62 Israel Avenue Friday 28th March 6pm. I am a strong woman with integrity, values and honesty. Whatever feedback you have please direct to me, it is not the School, it is not the Cook Islands group. Kia Orana atupaka kia kotou katoatoa.
