A message to all Wellington Office Staff from Bruce Manners - regrettably we have made the decision to cancel the staff function tonight following the large earthquake yesterday. Right now the statistical chance of another large aftershock, similar in intensity to yesterday, is much higher than normal and did we could not justify bringing all our people into central Wellington to a venue that is a quake prone assessed building. Thanks for the way you all behaved during the quakes yesterday, it was very reassuring to see everyone responding in a calm and appropriate manner. Also a big thanks to our structural team (plus Kirsty and Graham!!) who have immediately started on the assessment of our clients buildings. Take care and keep safe!
