A message to those who are in leadership: In life we must all learn to make the proper adjustments in order to maximize every opportunity while we are on this earth. If you are a parent this is very important as your decisions would impact those around you. There is no difference in leadership weather you are a Pastor, Small group leader, worship leader exc.. We must all learn to make adjustments so that those whom God has placed under us like children would reap the benefits of our willingness to make those adjustments. Adjustments are made by evaluating yourself first. Ask yourself the question..How am I as a leader? I can tell you this, that although you may have all the qualities as a leader you may not have the heart for God, so the first question you should ask yourself is ..Do I have a heart for God? Understand this..God is not moved by our knowledge. He is not moved by how much we study or how many books we read or interpretations of scriptures we memorize and quote. God is moved by those who worship Him in spirit and in truth, those who truly desire to see Gods glory NOW!! We as leaders must first make adjustments concerning our relationship with God. What about your ministry? How does it compare to the book of Acts? Are people gravitating to the message of the Gospel? Are the chains of religion, sickness, addictions, possession and the like are being broken in the name of Jesus? Is the same resurrecting power that raised Christ from the dead showing up and causing those things that are dead to come back to life? You might say that those things do not happen all the time because it is in Gods time and if it is His will, He will do it. I will tell you this...Stop making excuses for why it is not happening in your ministry, and start making provision and adjustments so that things would change starting with your confession and belief. Believe that it is Gods will to do it, and confess it according to the ministry that has been given to Christ as He spoke and said The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set liberty to those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Do you not know that the same resurrecting power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, and as He is, so are you. BELIEVE IT!!! Last but not least, evaluate your team. It is just as important to surround yourself with people who believe beyond their capabilities and gifting. Let me say that I believe that I operate under the five ministry gifts, but I have learned to lean on Gods strength and not on the gifts. I have learned that the gifts will open doors, but God will get you through them. We must all surround ourselves with people that believe in the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit if we are to see the works manifesting in our ministries. Yes, there could be Thomas in our midst who will not believe until he or she sees. That is a spirit of discord in your leadership. Let us pray against that spirit of un-belief that God would give them a divine visitation, and revelation that they may touch the wounds of Christ, and that their faith may be strengthened. Now that we are talking about your inner circle let me say that those around you must be hand picked by Christ and not by you as some are accustom of doing. Remember that Christ is the one who picked the twelve for the work. In fact, I would go on to say that most ministries that are struggling are doing so because there are people in the leadership that God has not picked to be there. We look at the faithfulness facture and say that they would be good for the ministry because they show up. I have news for you...When God sent Samuel to Jesses house to anoint the new King of Israel all of Jesses Sons showed up except one. One might say that they were faithful for showing up however it was the one that didnt show up that God saw to be His faithful servant. Why? Because he believed and trusted God. I would rather have people who can shake the heavens with their faith, then those who just show up and do nothing. The word that came to me for the leaders is...It is time to evaluate and make adjustments. Pray that God would cause you to fall in love with Him again. Pray that God would give you a revelation of the ministry of Jesus Christ that you and those under you may walk in it NOW!! Pray that God would pour into those under you. That He would cause you all to be as one and not divided, and if there are some that you know that have been placed in position because you have placed them there and not God, ask God for wisdom in how to deal with it and put it in His hands.
