This is option 3- there is already a 3b and I am sure there will be a 4 before its all affirmed and plans drawn up- consultation is not a democratic promise- but a desire to listen and discern Victoria often takes a decisive approach (because She looks for Visions of the Kingdom of God- that is there is a set of values that She like Jesus holds- they arent always the sort of Sunday school story books that Cantabrians hold to as a whole- She is Bishop because the Church saw her abilities and knew that they were needed in our City) The Canterbury Association gave us a City that places the English Cathedral at the centre- but we are their Sons and Daughters and we realise that it was Christ who can warm its heart. Tell us you no longer want a church and we will work harder to show you we are not made to be a museum- Scott designed a Cathedral for the Victorian age- but tell us you no longer see Top hats and hoop skirts and we will show you a Bishop with Dreadlocks and Women who lead us to ways of justice and earnest love I Love our City, Our History, Our Future, Our Church and Our Bishop who challenges us to Live Love (Love that is honest and not naive)
