A modern day Thai Christmas story: 2 weeks ago I applied for a Thai drivers license, I was thinking I would never get one on my current visa but what the hell, I tried!! To my surprise... I actually got it and was very proud to be a legal driver in Thailand. 5 days later I was out on the town here in udon Thani and I lost my wallet with a little but of money and my Thai and American license as well. I was angry but could blame myself but moving forward a few days later I went to the udon police station to report my lost license and then went back to my apartment. Waiting for me was a letter from the udon police and the first thing I thought about was how drunk was I the other night!!!!! But inside the letter was both of my licenses and a note written in English. I was taken back from this kind gesture and would like to remind everyone to do a kind gesture to someone else, it just might come back to help you too!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
