A mom says, Both my kids should be entering 6th grade next year and we are moving this summer. Im very torn on wether to enter them back in public school or continue to try and homeschool. I feel like I was beating my head against a rock all last year, like I wasnt able to really reach them with any of our teaching. I took the advice of some other homeschool parents and found some free curriculums because we cant afford an expensive one, even if we really wanted to. Im worried that they didnt get a well rounded education while at home with me for the last two years and even more worried what will happen if they take the placement test to go back to public school. You guys have been a great help on so many posts Ive read, do you have any ideas or suggestions for a cheap but effective curriculum? I sort of (admittedly) jumped in over my head when I pulled them from public school and still feel so out of my element. I dont want to give up, but I dont want kids who cant even do the their grade level work either! Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
