A moment in time. Know that in 1933 it was easy to trade dollar for dollar for gold until there was not enough money to pay the people, so the president at that time made it illegal to have the gold and wrote in a law to have all your wealth (gold) turned over to the government. The value of the dollar has been so devalued, to the point we do not use it much today! We use the credit, pen, and internet to transact in commerce. A new age Grest Depression. Do you wonder why they are always asking you to trade your scrap gold for bucks?
