A month ago a 3 year old girl was hit & killed at the school cross walk. This past Sunday a boy was hit, dragged, and died at the scene. All in the City of Dinuba... Ive given my name, phone number, Ive filled out the volunteer application, passed my TB Test, & Ive given them the last three weeks of my work schedule so that I could volunteer as a crossing guard for the school... the latest work schedule was given directly to the principal & vice principal at Lincoln School. The day after the incident with the little girl I enquired to the receptionist as to why Dinuba Unified School District doesnt have any crossing guards & her response, No Volunteers
