A movie doesnt have to be all loaded up with huge star cast or action packed thrilling and dramatic sequences to be judged as the right amount of everything just for the sake of it. Sometimes a perfect dish can be made by just one single ingredient and this movie justifies the above statements very well. First things first, the direction and screenplay by Steven Knight, was without any doubt excellent. He did pretty well with the story and didnt loose the touch or got distracted(believe me, it happens a lot with directors). It cannot be ignored that what a difficult job it is to make so much out of a minimalist environment provided. Just the idea of pulling a whole movie with just one character is daring and in this case, also plausible. Everything was just the right amount, no unnecessary plot twists, no unreal drama, just pure suspense and genuine thrill. And now,time to mention the HERO, Tom Hardy, man of the hour. Just first few minutes of the movie and you see how amazingly he fits into the character of Ivan Locke. His patience, his decision power, his intellect, everything was poured in right place. The exposure of his character was actually well sorted and multidimensional, all you have to do is observe closely. Saying any more will be ruining fun for you, so do watch it if u havent and for those who already have, just remember Traffic is ok...m gonna be there.
