A new Technique: I just completed two glass trays/serving dishes and they turned out much nicer than I had hoped. I started with many strips of glass cut in 1/4 strips, laid them on edge in a pattern and then fired the the piece within dams to keep the glass from running and becoming thinner. Once completed, there was a little cold work to be done, followed by a second firing to slump into this gentle form. I like this technique so youll probably be seeing more of this form in the future.
