A new academic movement to avoid offending cultures who inexplicably avoid pork by avoiding the mention of pork is making waves in the science community. Several Oxford authors conducting studies on different porcine species were immediately denied funding to continue their work pending their verification that the animals in question in their studies were indeed, unclean, and should not be mentioned in any savory sort of way, nor dined upon during tests. While frustrating to some, others have thrived under the new unique guidelines. After making some adjustments to his new book derived from his doctoral thesis that had been earmarked for immediate printing through Oxford, grad student Archie Flappenchoobis has taken the new restrictions in stride. The author has embraced the new guidelines by eagerly modifying his doctoral thesis on the nutritional impact of pork on human digestion. His new and only manuscript now contains 327 blank pages, all quite readable to the layman, and a new cover which states: NO PORK. Due to the short notice of these developments, much of the initial text has changed slightly, and the bibliography contains only three entries: several smudges of firmly scrubbed-out bacon grease, the book of Leviticus, and the China Study, though he made it clear that none of those had any bearing on the initial study. Reviews have been mixed. Upon sneaking a peak at the book, one academic reviewer who wished to remain anonymous simply said, Its an easy read. We questioned another senior member of the department, Harvey Finklestienbaumberg, who merely laughed, and said Serious? foxnews/world/2015/01/16/no-little-piggies-uk-publishing-firm-allegedly-bans-pig-pork-mentions/
