A new botulinum toxin, Xeomin, will be released in June 2014. This new product will provide consumers with another alternative to the well-known product that we all know the name of. Xeomin is said to have a smaller chance of resistance by the body, when used in the long term. Marketed as a pure product, it contains no associated proteins like its competitors products. Also it doesnt need to be refrigerated, which reduces the possibility of heat deactivation of the product. Importantly, it will also be likely to come in at a cheaper price for consumers than the current market leader.
