Mr. Hardees account covered everything. I was shocked about certain things jurors are put through....particularly pertaining to sequestered trials. I can now more easily understand how some juries arrived at their verdict, depending on how long the trial runs, and how long they (the jurors) have been separated from their families. Mr. Hardee definitely makes a case as to whether the accused is found guilty or acquitted of the charges. Do the jurors fight to deliver the verdict they feel is correct, or do they allow themselves to compromise their principals for the sake of ending the trial. Could you be persuasive enough to turn a jury around, or would your one dissenting vote cause a mistrial? Very insightful book which I read in one setting....couldnt wait to see how the jury would allow the extenuating circumstances of their sequestration effect their vote.
