A new tropical cyclone has developed in the Bay of Bengal. It is of tropical storm strength and is labled as Tropical Cyclone 04B. It is expected to stay at tropical storm strength, falling just short of becoming a cyclone (with hurricane force winds). It is forecast to move into eastern India. Models are predicting that another tropical cyclone will develop in the southeast Bay of Bengal in a couple days. That one could be stronger and reach cyclone (hurricane) strength. That one is forecast to move northwestward and possibly move into India near the same area as Tropical Cyclone 04B.
