A not so brief explanation: I am an agnostic atheist secular humanist. I do not worship or pledge my life to any gods or deities. Being agnostic I welcome evidence of any Gods or deities at any time and I will change my beliefs; seeing as there is none present day except a few very flawed books written by men I believe in none. I do participate in many religious holidays for fun and I honestly would participate in them all but lets be honest having a Chanukah bush and a Christmas tree ect is exhausting. If I am wrong and a God or gods do exist I will acknowledge that in my death and I do so without fear. Why? If we are created as imperfect beings with free will then I use it as a skeptical child of science since the god gave me this I would assume being a good person is good enough. If not I accept any punishment with no regret. Do I hate religion? No thats dumb but I do believe in a SeCular state. Simply put I fight against any religion that puts their beliefs into law and forces me to obey their laws. Example: Christianity, I as an atheist cannot hold public office in the state of Texas. I cannot buy a fifth of Jack on Sunday ect. As soon as that is stopped perhaps we can live in peace. As for my postings or pins if you cannot accept my friendship or love me as family because of my beliefs then I feel like Im not missing out on anything. Peace to all! :D
