A note from your instructor, Lauren Brown: There are as many - TopicsExpress

A note from your instructor, Lauren Brown: There are as many ways to teach yoga as there are teachers. I prefer to teach Hatha in a style where one movement flows into the next slowly. I provide lots of instruction and modifications so that no matter who is in class they can get something positive from the experience. My intention is for participants to leave the class more relaxed, a little stronger, and with the aches and pains of the day eased. I love to add a little something for the spirit such as a moment to be grateful, a moment to connect with what inspires you, or a relaxation technique. Yoga can encourage those who are sedentary to get moving and to trust their bodies again. It can also be a great activity for those who are already physically fit as it helps develop focus and a consciousness of skeletal alignment and how joints work!
