A note of a plea to be safe and keep on smiling from a friend: I tried to “call” you during this long recess to go get some lunch or something. No answer. I’m sure you’re busy. I just wanted to share a few interesting tidbits with you. First, as I walked through the crowd of religious zealots fronting the capitol, I noticed a sizeable number of pit bulls, albeit they are on leash currently. There is much yelling, “Faggots, get off our land!” “This ain’t over!” and “Death to homo’s”. WTF??? Like I said, this is a branch of Christianity that I’m not familiar with. Since I couldn’t get hold of you, I took myself to Starbucks. You’ll be pleased to know that our friends who work there are decked out in their rainbow leis. And, I had reason to go to Home Depot earlier and a number of their employees are also wearing the rainbow lei. Thought you would want to know. Think I’ll head back up and see if there have been any serious confrontations. They might be there, but I didn’t see any signs of a law enforcement office – then again, would it do any good?
