A note to my readers: It is with a mixture of joy and sorrow that I announce that Navigator Book’s Kindle edition of my novel, THE FINAL SALUTE, is no longer available on Amazon as of 4/5/14. I am deeply grateful to Navigator Books for the new cover and the chance to reach more readers since they released the e-book July 2011. With the help from loyal readers who posted reviews, we hit #1 on Amazon’s Top Rated War Fiction Mothers Day 2012! The following November, the day after Veteran’s Day, TFS hit the paid bestseller list, thanks to a promotion Navigator Books and I took part in with fellow authors Phyllis Zimbler Miller and Bonnie Latino. I am also grateful for the support from fellow writers at Military Writers Society of America. (The Leatherneck paperback edition took home the Silver Medal in 2009 from MWSA.) While today is bittersweet, it’s also filled with joy and anticipation. Front Porch Reads will republish THE FINAL SALUTE in e-book July 2014 and print September 2014. Will I get a new cover? Will they change the title?
