A number of fundraising events are happening across the province to raise funds for the RCMP Fallen Member Fund. On Saturday, the Clarenville RCMP Detachment is holding a BBQ and bake sale fundraiser between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot. A book of condolences will be available on site for people to sign. The book, as well as all monies raised, will be forwarded to the Codiac Detachment of the RCMP after the BBQ. Tomorrow well tell you about other related events taking place in St. Johns over the next two weekends.
