A number of years ago elder kowallis and his companion taught and baptized two men in their early twenties, one of those men was my dad Liam Doherty, due to the efforts of those two elders he served a mission in southern England, met and married my mother Debbie Doherty, and raised a large family in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, two of his children, my brother william and I are currently serving missions in Manchester England and Provo Utah, working hard to bring others closer to Christ, in fact you could say that I would not be the person I am today with out these two elders being worthy and willing to serve, that I would not be the person I am today. I owe so much to this man. To all the missionaries and returned missionaries out there, never feel discouraged because of your efforts in your mission field, you do not know the power and effect you will have in peoples lives and futures! I had the privilege of going out to lunch today with brother kowallis and his wife. Thanks guys! I owe you more then I can possibly repay!
