A parent asks our group: I need to vent...Feeling discouraged and sad. Preliminary results of spd evaluation show negative results in all areas of praxis and vestibular function. Looks like we may be adding a dx of acquired developmental dyspraxia( acquired because of strokes, developmental because she was so young when it happened). I know I should be grateful for having her here, period. She almost didnt make it after her heart surgery and strokes. But it is so exhausting on a daily basis and Im burnt out! I make time for myself and go out for coffee with my bff, but when the night is over its hard to come back home.
