A parent writes, Today at my babys 4 month check up the doctor pulled back his foreskin. When I started freaking out she told me she wasnt retracting it, and in fact, I should have been doing this at every bath because otherwise it will cover the urethra opening and thats how it gets clean. She also said something about having until age five for it to fully retract. I told her that I felt very educated about intact care, and I had always thought you were suppose to treat it like youd wipe a finger and she said no! I just dont know what to think and its quite honestly got me pretty upset and I know NO ONE with an intact son... Help.
