A partially-sighted woman was targeted by robbers as she walked to the shops in Bedminster, Bristol, on Tuesday 9 Dec. Linda Nash, 60, who uses a walking aid, was walking along Dean Crescent at just after 5pm, when two people tried to grab her handbag. Investigating officer Det Con Lauren Steele said Linda resisted and the offenders ran off when a passing motorist intervened. We dont have any descriptions as Linda suffers from a degenerative eye condition. Were trying to trace this motorist, as well as anyone who saw this incident.
