A patient stopped me in the hallway this morning to thank me for the excellent care he and his family have received over the years. He was said he just felt it was really important to share how glad they were to be patients here. It brought me to tears on the spot. I had to stand looking into his eyes with tears running down my face and my heart so full. I feel so grateful to be in this place able to do what I do everyday. It has been the greatest gift of my life. And today in this moment my angels must have known I could really use a bit of encouragement.
