A peace has no alternative; we need peace to go to mosque, we need peace to go to church, we need peace to go to school and we need peace to go to work. In the absence of peace, we cant worship, or go to work, school and everything will be stand still. There is nothing to enjoy in your life when you lack peace. The peace is gradually diminishing and bloodbath is reported almost on daily basis around the world and Nigeria is not exceptional. The insecurity is a global phenomenon but only vary on how the Government of the country address it, to what extend prevent measure mechanism is put in place to prevent its recurrent. Unfortunately, the insecurity in Nigeria and particularly in the northern region is worrisome. Whether the FG effort has yield fruitful result in the fight against the insecurity is what in every patriot mouth. The impact of this menace touch virtually every aspect of human capital development in Nigeria. The huge amounts of money is budgeted for security which cost the Nigeria so much. Yet, the insecurity lingered on which put fear in everyone hearts. Well, taming insecurity is not a days job, nonetheless efforts have been put in place by FG to tackle the situation but it appears ineffective. Though, we failed to understand how far have the FG gone but it is not time for taking side in blaming games. Our prayer goes to our gallant soldiers who put on their lives to restore the peace in our dear Nation. May God bring a lasting peace in Nigeria.
