A performance review is seriously overdue. Lets please get to the most important question... Which is... what precautions have the military and responsible authorities taken to make sure that these soldiers/officers that put their lives on the line to protect our homeland are themselves protected? How well are they prepared? How properly/poorly are they trained/armed for such a scenario? What are the changes to the poor security procedures that we have learned from past similar tragedies, in the same area and of the same scandalous scale? What new measures have you implemented? Until those professionally in charge are put to questioning in public, just as effectively as we do when Egypt loses a soccer game.. This horrible phenomenon will probably not end anytime soon.. Simply because terrorists will not stop being terrorists.. It is what they do.. they do heinous cowardly massive massacres like this for a living.. Now what have YOU done to prevent this? - It is a check point.. You even know it is a high probability target.. And u have that amount of personnel in it! What the hell have you done to protect them? Seriously the professional performance of all security bodies is seriously beyond embarrassing; in my books this is called gross negligence. Now, can we please address the core issue of unacceptable performance and gross negligence? - Ahmed Eid
